European Debate - Reality

Aah, politics, run, run for your sanity.

First off, if you're questioning the title, [ - Reality ] it is realated to the different aspects of my life I'm sharing (how risky) with you. And yes Sherlock, there will be Ranting / Reading / Reviewing (extra), as the title suggests, sections as well. But as I've said before this won't be regular.

For those of you who are actually interested in what I have to say! Thank you. :)

So yeah.. some of you may (or may not) know that (in the UK) there was a debate between Nick Clegg (Lib Dem) and Nigel Farage (UKIP) about the membership of the European Union and the future of the UK. For me, I sat and watched the debate while others probably aren't going to hear about it until tomorrows news. Shows how interested I am.

But, seriously, I thought it was interesting and respected both sides. After listening to Farage, I must say he hasn't deserved much of the abuse the media give him. As for Clegg he has done well in representing his EU relationship. However; I should probably be unbiased...
[Random Shout]
 - YOU! Unbiased.
 - Shh, I'm sounding fair!
 - You're not fair
 - Oh, very mature. -_-

I do get a lot of stick sometimes for not saying what others expect me to say. But, often I find that very contradicting. Everyone must agree that we are entitled to free speech and the ability to debate. Which is why I love to talk, as to see what others think and for me and others to question their own morals. Which is why for me it often becomes very depressing, when people don't want to listen to my side of a story, I don't mind if you don't agree with me and that's fine, I like that, but I often feel that people don't want to even consider me, because I'm controversial, radical, wrong. But surely that is the problem, I'm not a one off. There are people who care as passionately about the world as I do, so don't think I'm someone you'll never see again. If you think I am wrong that's fine.

But if you take one thing away from me; it's that there are many sides to an argument, even the ones you don't want to listen to. So tell me why I'm wrong, not just because 'I am.' Because in times of uncertainty, question yourself, your own morals.

But remember this...

And until next time...

Think Critically
